2.1 About WorkGuru

WorkGuru is a supported, digitalised, learning programme designed to help people build and maintain emotional strength and resilience. It is aimed at people who are over 18 years of age. The tools used in WorkGuru include self-monitoring questionnaires and evidence based approaches designed to build emotional resilience. WorkGuru is a self-help programme for people with and without mild to moderate stress, anxiety and depression. It is not a substitute for clinical/medical treatment or advice.

If you are currently experiencing a serious mental health condition such that you are at risk of harming yourself or others you should not use or continue to use this programme but should seek urgent medical advice from either your Doctor, a mental health professional, or an emergency department of a hospital. You can contact the Samaritans via their website www.samaritans.org or by telephoning (in the UK) (ROI) .

WorkGuru is not responsible for monitoring your use of the programme and is not required to follow up with you regarding your care.

3 Becoming a Member of WorkGuru

3.1 Registering With WorkGuru

If a place has been purchased for you on WorkGuru you need to go to the relevant section of the Website, enter your code, register your name and email address and create a password to be used alongside that email address.

Once a code has been entered you will gain access to the WorkGuru Website.

You are responsible for updating your information and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, mobile telephone, smart phone, tablet, iPad or any other device used to access the Website.

You are responsible for any activity that occurs using your email address and password.

By registering with WorkGuru, You warrant that you are:

I. Legally capable of entering into binding contracts; and
II. At least 18 years old.

4 Services

4.1 Services

Membership of WorkGuru is for 2 months. You can renew your membership on completion of those 2 months.

During those 2 months you can access the on-line self-help material and direct messaging support from a Job Coach.

4.2 Direct Messaging a Coach

WorkGuru provides asynchronistic (direct messaging) support from a Coach. You are invited to send a message to a Coach seeking information, clarification or support. The Coach will use best endeavours to respond within 24 hours.

4.3 Changing Fees and Charges

We may from time to time, at our sole discretion, make changes to our fees or charges. These changes will not be made retrospectively. Any sessions purchased before the changes to the fees take place will remain at the old rate.

All material on this Website or delivered through our services (including software and content whether downloaded or not) remains the property of WorkGuru. Such content may not be modified, copied, distributed, framed, reproduced, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted, transmitted or sold in any form or by any means, in whole or in part without prior written consent.

5.1 Making a Complaint

WorkGuru welcomes comments about the service we offer and we regret any Member having cause to make a complaint. If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service please contact us at we will confirm that your complaint has been received within 48 hours of receiving it. We will then investigate and respond to your complaint within 10 working days.
